The skin is the largest organ in the body and often acts as a window to diseases of the internal organs. Infections of the skin may be caused by various types of bacteria, fungi, viruses, parasites, etc. These conditions can be acute or chronic and may require prolonged treatment. Other minor skin ailments may also be troublesome. Teenagers have a lot of trouble with acne due to changes in hormonal levels and may often require hormonal therapy. Other common skin problems routinely treated at PSG hospitals are eczema, psoriasis, rashes, hives, etc.,
