Green Initiatives
- The student council of PSGIMSR goes a step beyond routine CSR activities and volunteer themselves for initiatives that sustain green environment and wildlife preservation.
- The PSGIMSR student council plants trees on a regular basis both within and outside the campus. Thus the 100 acres campus boasts of 30 acres of Green belt and includes more than 2000 trees with shrubs and grasslands.
- Sewage Water treatment plant, Solar energy utilization
- Sewage water is recycled and it is used for watering trees and plants grown in the institution campus
- Institution is striving for paper-less office by utilizing hi-tech interdepartmental communication methods.
- Plastic covers, pet bottles, disposable cups are prohibited to use in the institution campus
- PSGIMSR has been awarded The Green Hospital award by the Association of Healthcare Providers of India
