1.HEARTCODE BLS PROVIDER COURSE

The Heartcode BLS provider course teaches Basic life support skills for application in both in-hospital and prehospital settings on High quality CPR and Team dynamics.

Delivery Format:

Blended Format (Online Videos & Instructor-Led Hands –on–session)

The study material consisting of training manual and videos which are accessible on-line, for candidates who has register for the course. Candidates will have to complete the online module and the required pre-requisites, before coming for the hands-on session.

Content / Modules:

The Heartcode BLS provider course teaches Basic life support skills for application in both in-hospital and prehospital settings on High quality CPR and Team dynamics.

  • High quality CPR for Adult, Child and Infant
  • Early defibrillation and use of AED
  • Effective ventilation and methods
  • Systematic Approach of cardiac Arrest
  • Relief of foreign body in a choking adult or Infant

2. AHA HEARTCODE BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) & ADVANCED CARDAC LIFE SUPPORT (ACLS) PROVIDER

Delivery Format:

BLS Heartcode (Blended Learning)
ACLS: Traditional Instructor led training and videos

Instructor to student Ratio – 1:6

  • Systematic approach

  • Recognition and Management of Cardiac Arrest
  • Recognition and Management of Post Cardiac Arrest care

  • Recognition and Management of Cardiac emergencies and stroke
  • Organizing and communicating with team.

Healthcare providers will enhance their skills in the treatment of the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. ACLS emphasizes the importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival; the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions; and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.

Students engage in simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students will practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as team leader.

Realistic simulations reinforce the following key concepts: proficiency in basic life support care, recognizing and initiating early management of peri-arrest conditions, managing cardiac arrest, identifying and treating ischemic chest pain and acute coronary syndromes, recognizing other life-threatening clinical situations (such as stroke) and providing initial care, ACLS algorithms, and effective resuscitation team dynamics.

Target Group:

For emergency, intensive care, or critical care healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may need to respond to a cardiovascular emergency.

BLS: Individual Skill Testing
ACLS: Written exam and skills testing as a group

ACLS Provider Course Completion E-Card and certificate will be issued on successful completion of Heartcode BLS, Group testing & written exam in ACLS (renewable).

3.AHA HEARTCODE BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) & PAEDIATRIC ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT (PALS) PROVIDER

The Heartcode BLS provider course teaches Basic life support skills for application in both in-hospital and prehospital settings on High quality CPR and Team dynamics.

The PALS provider course aims to improve outcomes for emergencies and critical conditions in Infant and children.

Delivery Format:

BLS: Heartcode BLS (Blended Learning)

PALS: Traditional Instructor led training and videos

Instructor to student Ratio – 1:6

Content / Modules:

  • CPR guidelines for Children and Infant
  • Paediatric systematic approach
  • Obtaining IO access
  • Assessment, early recognition and treatment of Respiratory Emergencies
  • Assessment, early recognition and treatment of Circulatory Emergencies
  • Assessment, early recognition and treatment of Cardiac Emergencies

This course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for paediatrics and infants, use of an automated external defibrillator, relief of choking, recognition and management of cardiac, respiratory and circulatory emergencies.

The course is video-based with instructor-led discussions and simulation. Students participate in, practice and complete various skills and learning modules.

Ideal for learners who prefer group interaction and feedback from an instructor while learning skills.

Healthcare providers will enhance their skills in the treatment of paediatric and infant victims of a cardiac arrest, respiratory emergencies, circulatory emergencies or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. PALS emphasize the importance of systematic approach; the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions, the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.

Students engage in simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through different learning stations like CPR, Airway, Intraosseous access,Defibrillation, wherein students will practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as team leader.

Target Group:

Paediatricians, Physicians, ICU Nurses, health care professionals handling paediatric and infant emergencies.

BLS: Individual Skill Testing
PALS: Written exam and skills testing as a group

4.Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED:

This course is designed for Non medical professionals with limited medical training needs certification for Job regulatory requirements.

The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) based on American Heart Association Guidelines.

Delivery Format: Traditional Instructor and video

Instructor to student Ratio – 1:6

  • Control bleeding & bandaging

The course is designed for non healthcare professionals who prefer group interaction and feedback from an instructor while learning skills.

Heart Saver First aid, CPR & AED course emphasize the importance of first responders and integration of effective basic life support , use of an Automated external defibrillator, and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.

Students engage in simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation on recognition, providing basic first aid in common emergencies such bleeding, fractures, electric shock, seizures and ect, where students will practice essential skills individually, as part of a team till medical help is available.

Target Group:

Non-health care professionals, First responders requiring an International certification to meet international standards.

Testing: Written exam and skills test

Card Type / AHA Certification: Heart saver CPR AED Provider Course Completion E-Card and certificate on passing the exam valid for two years from date of issue (Renewable)
